About simulator
S-300P SAM system (SA-10 Grumble) training simulator (hereinafter – the F2K simulator) is designed to education, train and evaluate the actions of the F2K equipment container personnel.
The F2K simulator represents a set of educational interactive simulation models of the F2K equipment container personnel workspaces.
The F2K simulator can be used separately, as a model for study controls system and information display the F2K equipment container, as well as for modeling combat operations the F2K equipment container.
The F2K simulator includes:
- interactive simulation model of the launch officer workplace
- interactive simulation model of the detection and targeting officer workplace
- interactive simulation model of the capture officer workplace
- interactive simulation model of the MT operator on ϕB workplace
- interactive simulation model of the MT operator on ϕH workplace
- instructor’s workstation
- specialized software
The F2K simulator Software
The F2K simulator Software includes the following components:
- module for reproduction of jobs of S-300 personnel
- mathematical model of simulation of S-300 operation
- module of control and evaluation of work results
The module of reproduction of workplaces of the S-300 personnel provides:
- generation of audio-visual three-dimensional environment of S-300 personnel (with all elements) in real time with an average frame rate during operation of not less than 30 frames per second for the workplace of the launch officer, the workplace of the detection and targeting officer, the workplace of the capture officer, workplaces of the MT operators on ϕB and on ϕH
- interaction of personnel and controls of S-300 during work by means of the following input devices:

- keyboards and mice or monitor with the ability to recognize touch (“Touch Screen” technology) – for the mode of operation separately from the multimedia system
- management bodies of training simulating models of workplaces

- transmission of commands entered by users to the mathematical model of simulation of S-300 operation and visualization of the received signals on display systems
The module of control and estimation of results of work in the testing mode provides:
- control of personnel actions at all workplaces
- detection of errors in combat operations
- evaluation of the results of personnel work by the number of errors, time and result of tasks
