Combat simulator for training a BAT-2 combat engineer vehicle driver-mechanic
About the Simulator
The static simulator for the BAT-2 road-building vehicle mechanic-driver is designed to develop and maintain the mechanic-drivers' strong skills in preparing for movement, operating control instruments, using indication and signaling devices, driving in various weather conditions—both summer and winter—across different terrains, during day and night, overcoming natural and artificial obstacles, and cultivating practical abilities and skills in operating the BAT-2 road-building vehicle equipment through the completion of practical tasks on the simulator.
It consists of a layout of the main control units of the workstation for a mechanic-driver of engineering equipment, as well as computer equipment of the automated workstation with installed licensed specialized software.
Mock-up of the Driver-Mechanic Control Interfaces of the BAT-2 Engineering Vehicle
Designed to develop skills in cadets and trainees for operating the BAT-2 road construction vehicle control systems, studying the sequence and correctness of actions by mechanic-drivers when driving, without replicating actual work processes, during the initial stage of driver training.
