About the simulator

The training simulator for preparing drivers of the KrAZ-6322 vehicle is a computer-mechanical educational tool consisting of a frame structure, interactive training models of the driver's workstation—which include simulators of control mechanisms (steering wheel, pedals, gear shift)—computer equipment, and specialized licensed software. It is designed to develop cadets' skills in operating control devices and to teach the sequence and correctness of the driver-mechanic’s actions during the initial stage of driving training. It is used together with specialized simulation software for combat scenarios.

It consists of control simulators such as a steering wheel, clutch pedal, brake pedal, gas pedal, and gear shift lever. Depending on the customer's requirements, it can be equipped with virtual reality goggles. The control simulators, in terms of design, functional purpose, arrangement, and the principle of interaction with the user, replicate the operation of the main controls of the KrAZ-6322 vehicle, providing the appropriate movement directions (travel) of the working mechanisms and the corresponding response characteristic of the vehicle's controls.

The software is used together with the simulator equipment, which includes computer hardware and an interactive training model of the driver's workplace for the KrAZ-6322. It is designed for studying and developing practical driving skills and interaction with the control systems of the KrAZ-6322 vehicle in trainees.
