Civilian simulators
Integrated Training Simulator for KrAZ-6322 Truck Drivers
About the Simulator
The KrAZ-6322 Driver Training Simulator is Designed for:
- Simulations and modeling of the operation of vehicle components, units, and systems in terms of driver performance, the physical laws governing vehicle movement over various types of terrain, and taking into account obstacle overcoming;
- Development of Basic Skills in Operating the Control Interfaces of the KrAZ Vehicle;
- Development of Truck Driving Skills, Including Operation in Extreme and Emergency Situations;
- Preparation and control of the execution of training scenarios for drivers of KrAZ-6322 vehicles in conditions of comprehensive simulation of a virtual training environment, taking into account factors such as the season, time of day, weather conditions, varying road surface conditions, urban and suburban areas, off-road sections, alongside other traffic, operation of traffic lights, movement of pedestrians, and other elements important from the training process perspective;
- Control and assessment of the quality of acquired practical driving skills and theoretical knowledge of traffic rules, as well as diagnosis of professional suitability.
The simulator includes a driver’s cabin mock-up, an instructor’s workstation, and specialized licensed software.
Mock-up of the KrAZ-6322 Driver’s Cabin
Mounted on a dynamic platform that ensures the accurate reproduction of the dynamic characteristics of the KrAZ-6322 vehicle during movement by simulating cabin tilts, acceleration loads during speed increases and braking, while turning, as well as when overcoming obstacles. The interior fully replicates the controls, instrument panels, equipment lighting, instrument scales, labels, and badges of the real KrAZ-6322 vehicle. It is designed to develop driving skills in cadets and trainees.
Instructor Workstation
Designed to organize the educational process, establish a scenario for task execution, and monitor the actions of learners. Equipped with multimedia equipment that displays the view from the driver's cabin, the position and condition of control devices, as well as a 3D camera view of the vehicle.
Specialized Licensed Software
Represents a Suite of Software Modules, Each Performing a Dedicated Function:
- The software suite "Combat Situation Simulation Complex" is responsible for creating virtual reality within the software environment, modeling the surrounding environment (training grounds), and simulating virtual combat vehicles and their control systems.
- The "SATURN" program (System for Administration and Management of Distributed Training) is designed to create a cadet database, store data on their training progress and results, and authorize users within the software.
- The "CrewSim" Software Application — Used for Modeling Training Environment Weather Conditions and Simulating Vehicle System Failures.
