Combat Simulator for Training the Operator of the FGM-148 Javelin Anti-Tank Guided Missile System (ATGM)

About the System

Multimedia simulator for the Javelin anti-tank missile system, designed for training and practicing Javelin operators with the aim of developing and reinforcing skills in visual reconnaissance, identification of target identification, aiming, and firing; applicable in various terrain types, different weather conditions, and classroom settings. The simulator system includes: an imitation model of the "FGM-148 Javelin" ATGM, VR operator equipment, automated workstation equipment for both instructor and operator, and specialized licensed software titled "Javelin ATGM Operator Training Program."
The computer equipment of the simulator is installed with specialized software for simulating combat conditions, the "Javelin ATGM Operator Training Program."
Training Program for the Operator of the FGM-148 Javelin Anti-Tank Guided Missile System
  • the operating principles of the controls of the "FGM-148 Javelin" ATGM used by the operator;
  • comprehensive simulation of training and combat environments closely resembling real conditions;
  • preparation and monitoring of the execution of training tasks.
Specialized Licensed Software "Training Program for the Operator of the FGM-148 Javelin Anti-Tank Guided Missile System (ATGM)"
  • Effective training of the operator of the "FGM-148 Javelin" ATGM within the scope of their functional duties;
  • Simulation of the operator’s workflow of the "FGM-148 Javelin" ATGM with the ability to reproduce practical actions;
  • Reconstruction of the terrain and background environment (rocket launch sounds, explosions, etc.) within a unified information environment, with their dynamic changes during task execution;
  • Reconstruction of the operator’s actions while performing their functional duties, including target identification, aiming, firing, etc.;
  • Simulation (visualization) of firing the "Javelin" ATGM in accordance with designated targets: aiming, missile flight, result of the fire impact on the target;
  • Integration into higher-level simulator-modeling systems with the capability to transmit information about status, position, and task execution, combining multiple homogeneous and/or heterogeneous simulator systems (complex simulators) into a single information environment;
  • The capability for the instructor to create an sound-target environment, variants of task execution, weather conditions, season and time of day, meteorological firing conditions, enemy influence, other conditions and factors affecting task execution, algorithms for changing the situation during task execution, behavior of adjacent units and the enemy (ground, air), civilian population, etc.; monitoring the task execution process from the instructor's position with the possibility of dynamically changing the conditions of task execution during its course, interrupting or completely stopping the task execution at any moment, etc.;
  • Documentation of the progress and results of task execution.
